AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33
IDENTIFIED AS THE TEMPORARY C CMPR.EHENSIVE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF DESIGNATION
IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP TO
CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after
consideration of application from the Tri- Cities Development Corporation,
owner of the real property hereinafter described, situated within said City,
and having held a public hearing thereon in which all interested persons
and owners of property in the vicinity of said realty were given ample and
sufficient opportunity to be heard in connection with said application,
having recommended to the City Council a change in the zoning designation
of said tract, and as by law provided, publication of. a Notice of Final
Hearing on such recommendation was made by publishing the same in the
Daily News - Texan, the official newspaper of the City on the 25th day of
November, 1962, and after said public hearing being held in
accordance with the said notice in which all owners of property in the City
of Euless, Texas, were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard,
the City Council deems it to be to the best interest of said City and its
inhabitants that such recommendation be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the official District Zoning Map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended to
read as follows:
THAT the designation of a tract of land, in Tarrant County, Texas,
described as follows:
BEING 39.671 acres of land out of the T. Jasper Survey, Abstract
No. 861, Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod at the intersection of the South
right -of -way line of Road 3020, Bedford- Euless Road, with
the West right -of -way line of Farm to Market Road 157;
THENCE South along the West right -of -way line of said
F.M. Road 157, 872.5 feet to an iron rod at the Northeast
corner of Lot 15, Bell Ranch Terrace Addition, as recorded
in Vol. 388 -S, Page 52, Deed Records of Tarrant County,
Texa s;
THENCE North 88 degrees 54 minutes West with fence line
along the North line of said Addition 1,980.5 feet to an iron
rod at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1, Bell Ranch
Terrace Addition.
THENCE North with fence line along the West line of L. J.
Douglas Tract 892.5 feet to an iron rod on fence corner on
the South right -of -way line of Bedford - Euless Road (County
Road 3020);
THENCE South 88 degrees 54 minutes East along the South
right -of -way line of Bedford - Euless Road (County Road 3020),
1,980.5 feet to the Place of Beginning and containing
39.671 acres of land, more or less.
now zoned "R" Residential, be zoned COMMERCIAL.

THIS ORDINANCE shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage as by law provided. p

PRESENTED and given First Reading on the day of January,
1963, at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas; and given Second Reading, passed and approved on the 'day
of 1963, by a vote of .3 Ayes and -7-' Nays
at a Meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas.
