AN ORDINANCE APPROVING CERTAIN RATE SCHEDULES
FILED BY THE TEXAS POWER & LIGHT COMPANY IN
THE OFFICES OF THE CITY SECRETARY OF EULESS,
TEXAS, AND PROVIDING CERTAIN CONDITIONS UNDER
WHICH THE SAME RATE SCHEDULES MAY BE CHANGED,
MODIFIED, AMENDED OR WITHDRAWN AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
- BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the schedules of rates and service
regulations as provided in Rate Book No. C -63 -179 of the Texas
Power & Light Company filed on August 13, 1963, with the City
Secretary of Euless, Texas, are hereby approved and said com-
pany is authorized to collect charges from its customers for
the sale of electric power and energy within the corporate
limits of the City until such time as the Euless City Council
may approve the change, modification, amendment or withdrawal
of such rate schedules and service regulations.
SECTION 2: The filing of the Rate Schedules and
Service Regulations, and the approval of same by the City
Council, in the manner herein provided, shall constitute
notice to the consumers of electricity, within the City,
of the availability and application of such Rate Schedules
and Service Regulations.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to
Section 6, Article XI entitled Franchise and Public Utilities
of the Official Charter of the City of Euless as adopted July
22, 1962.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and adop-
tion as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws and
statutes of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED and given First Reading on the 13th day
of August, 1963, at a regular meeting of the UFFY Council
of the City of Euless, Texas; and given Second Reading, passed
and approved on the 26thday of September , 1963, by
a vote of 4 Ayes and 0 Nays at a Regular
meeting of the City Council o`� f the City of Euless, Texas.
