AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL BUDGET
OF THE CITY OF EULESS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
OCTOBER 1, 1963 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 1964;
AUTHORIZING THE r.3tPENDITURE OF CITY FUNDS
FOR SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM AND THE
ADOPTION OF PROPOSED RECREATION OPERATING
BUDGET] REALLOCATING CERTAIN GENERAL FUND
EXPENDITURES AND REDESIGNATION OF DESCRIPTION;
PROVIDING THAT A COPY OF THIS ORDINANCE BE
ATTACKED TO AND MADE A PART OF THE OFFICIAL
BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF EULESB; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it has become a matter of necessity for the Euless City
Council to amend the official budget for the City of Euless adopted by
Resolution No. _65 on September 1 nt 196E, for the fiscal year
October 1, 1963, through September 30, 1964, and
`NHEREAS,the City of Euless is in urgent need of a recreational
program requiring the immediate expenditure of funds for current operating
expenses, and
WHEREAS, the Euless City Council has found it necessary in order
to provide for the health, safety and welfare. of its citizens to expend public
funds for the purchase of a spraying device and supporting equipment and
machinery to combat mosquitoes and other insects, and
'�%'HEREAS, the Euless City Council has found it necessary to provide
for the expenditure of additional fuada as salaries,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF lULESS, TEXAS:
1.
Item Z -1 entitled "Expanding Facilities and Park Site, under Section
1, General Government Expenditures, is hereby amended by the transfer of
the $15,656.93 budget allocation to the Park and Recreation budget as adapted
by the Euless City Council on March 24, 1964, a copy of which budget is
attached to this amending ordinance and is by reference incorporated herein
and made a part hereof for all purposes.

Item Z -1 entitled "Street Sweeper* under Section II, Public Works,
Is amended by the transfer of $1, 500.00 from the $6, 095.24 budget alloca-
tion to A -5, Salaries (Extra and Overtime), Section 1I, Public "Works.

Item Z-►1 entitled "Street Sweeper" , under Section 11. Public Yiorks,
is redesignated Vehicles, :Machinery and Equipment, and the remaining
budget allocation of $4,695.24 is reallocated for the purchase of Public
Works vehicles, machinery and equipment as the need may arise during
such fiscal year.

A copy of this amending ordinance shall be attached to and is
made a part of the original budget of the City of Euless for the fiscal year
October 1, 1963, through September 30, 1964.

i'ais Ordi:lance shall become effective and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its adoption and publication as required by the law
and the Euless City Charter.
