AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33
IDENTIFIED AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF DESIGNATION
IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP TO
CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after
consideration of application from W. L. Byers, owner of the real property
hereinafter described, situated within the City, aad having held a public
hearing thereon in which all interested persons and owners of property in
the vicinity of said realty were given ample and sufficient opportunity to
be heard in connection with said applicaibn, having recommended to the
City Council a change in the zoning designation of said tract, and as by
law provided, publication of a Notice of Final Hearing on such recommenda-
tion was made by publishing the same in the Dam News Texan
the official newspaper of the City on the 31st day of March 1964,
and after said public hearing being held in accordance with the said notice
In which all owners of property in the City of Euless, Texas, were given
ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard, the City Council deems it to be
to the best interest of said City and its inhabitants that such recommendation
be approved;
40W, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
IT I3 HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning rrap of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended to
read as follows:
THAT the designation of a tract of land in the City of
Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a steel rod in the East R.O.W. line of
F. M. Road #157, 349.7 feet north 1 deg. 07 min. West
from the southwest corner of a tract conveyed to W. L.
Byers by deed as recorded in Vol. 1802, page 445, Deed
Records, Tarrant County, Texas, said beginning being
in the proposed north R.O.W. line of State Highway #121 -A;
THENCE North 01 deg. 07 min West along the East
R.O.W. line of E.M. Road #157, 150 ft. to a steel
rod for corner; THENCE North 01 deg. 02 min. West
along the said East R.O.W. line 492.2 ft. to a steel
rod for corner; THENCE South 89 deg. 52 min. East
880.0 ft. to a steel rod for corner; THENCE South 0 deg.
57 min. East 691.2 ft. to a steel rod for corner; THENCE
North 89 deg. 55 min. West along the North R.O.W. line
of (Prop) State Highway #121-A, 829.0 ft. to a steel rod
for corner; THENCE North 44 deg. 55 min. West along the
proposed northerly R.O.W. line of said Highway #121 -A,
70.7 feet to the place of beginning and containing 13.930
acres of land more or less,
now zoned "A" Residential be zoned "C" Commercial, in accordance with
Ordinances Nos. 33 and 153 and subsequent amendments thereto.

This Ordinance shall be in full farce and effect from and after its
passage as by law provided.
PRESENTED AND GIVENT FIRST READING on the 28thday of April ,
1964, at a ! regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas, and given Second Reading, passed and approved on the 12th day of
May
