HomeMy WebLinkAbout224 05-12-1964ORDINANCE NO. 224 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONINGS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after con - sideration of application from john Sawtelle, owner of the real property hereinafter described, situated within the City, and having held a public hearing thereon in which all interested parsons and owners of property in the vicinity of said realty were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard in connection with said application# having recommended to the City Council a change in the Boning designation of sold tract, and as by law prrwidod, publication of a Notice of Final Hosting on such recommenda- tion was made by publishing the same in the Daily News Texan the official newspaper of the City on the 17 y of Apr , -1 -1964s and after said public hearing being held in acc+ardanve with the said notico in which all owners of property in the City of Euless, Texas, were given ample and stsfficiont opportunity to be heard. the City Council dooms it to be to the best interest of said City and its inhabitants that such recommendation be app mradl NOW t THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP EULZSS, TVMs 1. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning map of the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended to read as follows: THAT the designation of a tract of land in the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas# described as follows: BEGINNING at an Iron in the south line of Pipeline Road and being the northeast o=w of the Sawtells Tract; THENCE South no deg. 07 min. east, along the east line of said Sawtelle tract, 364 -5 /10 ft. to an iron at the northeast corner of the one acre tract convey to D. F. Pittman by deed recorded in Vol. 3273, page 656 of said deed records; THENCL South 67 deg. n min west along the north line of said Pittman tract and continuing along the north line of another one acre tract conveyed to said D. F. Pittman by the deed re- corded in Vol. 3273, page 655 of said deed records* and In all 152-43/100 ft. to a point for corner and being 80-17/100 feet from the rmthwest corner of said last mentioned one acre tracts THENCE North parallel with the west line of said Sawtelle tract. 130- 86/100 feet to a point fot corner; THItNCI North 50 deg. 44 min. east 98- 15/100 feet to a stake$ THENCE North 240 feet to an iron in the north line of said Sawtelle tract in the south line of Pipeline Road* TH NC* North 89 deg. 55 min. east along said tract and road line# 64 ft. to the place of beginning and containing 34, 680 square feet. now zoned "A" Single Family Dwelling* be zoned "A -2" Multiple.
