AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33
IDENTIFIED AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHEN-
SIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR TfiE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMEND-
ING ZONINNG MAP TO CONFORM WITH SUCH
AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE
WHEREAS, on action of the Zoning Commission of the City of
Euless, the real property hereinafter described, situated within the
City, and having held a public hearing thereon in which all interest-
ed persons and owners of property in the vicinity of said realty
were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard in connection
with said application, having recommended to the City Council a
change in the zoning designation of said tract, and as by law pro-
vided, publication of a Notice of Final Hearing on such recommend -
dation was made by publishing the same in the Daily News Texas, the
official newspaper of the City on the 3rd day of May, 1964, and
after said public hearing being held in accordance with the said no-
tice in which all owners of property in the City of Euless, Texas
were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard the City
Council deems it to be to the best interest of said City and its
inhabitants that such recommendation be approved:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning map
to the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be
amended to read as follows:
THAT the designation of a tract of land in the City
of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the Southeast corner of Raider
Drive and Pipeline Road;
THENCE East along the South right -of -way line of Pipelime
Road, 381 feet;
THENCE South 687 feet to a corner stake;
THENCE West 125 feet to a corner stake;
THENCE South 508.5 feet to a corner stake;
THENCE East 125 feet to a corner stake;
THENCE South 101.5 feet to a corner stake;
THENCE East 382 feet to a corner stake;
•HENCE South 38 feet to the North line of the 300
feet of Highway 183 already zoned commercial;
THENCE West by South along the North line of 300 -ft.
strip already zoned commercial for 812 feet to the
corner of 300 -ft. strip zoning of Htghtivay 183 and
Raider Drive
THENCE North along East side of right -of -way of
Raider Drive for 1695 feet to the Point of Be-
ginning in the Southeast corner of Raider Drive
and Pipeline Road.
now zoned "A" Single Family Dwelling be zoned "C" Commercial, in
accordance with Ordinances No. 33 and No. 153, and subsequent amend-
ments thereto.
II.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage as by law provided.
PRESBNTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING on the 9th day of June,
1964, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas; and given second reading, passed and approved on the 23rd
day of June, 1964, by a vote of 4 ayes and O nays at a regular meet-
ing of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
