AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP
TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after consid-
eration of application from the Euless Presbyterian Church, owner of the
real property hereinafter described, situated within the City, and having
held a public hearing thereon in which all interested persons and owners
of property in the vicinity of said realty were given ample and sufficient
opportunity to be heard in connection with said application, having recom-
mended to the City Council a change in the zoning designation of said tract
and as by law provided, publication of a Notice of Final Hearing on such
recommendation was made by publishing the same in the Daily News- Texan,
the official newspaper of the City on the 29th day of May, 1964, and after
said public hearing being held in accordance with the said notice in which
all owners of property in the City of Euless, Texas, were given ample and
sufficient opportunity to be heard, the City Council deems it to be to the
best interest of said City and its inhabitants that such recommendation
he approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended to
read as follows:
THAT the designation of a tract of land in the City
of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:
BEING a part of the Presbyterian Church tract out of
the A. J. Huitt Survey, Euless, Tarrant County, Texas,
and described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a corner in the west right of way of
Simmons Drive, said point being North 0 degrees 24
minutes East 365 feet from the northeast corner of
Block 119 Oakwood Terrace West, 2nd. Section, as re-
corded in Volume 388 -22, Page 62, Deed Records, Tar-
rant County, Texas;
THENCE South 84 degrees 40 minutes West a distance
of 459.7 feet to a corner, said point being in the
west property line of the Presbyterian Church tract;
THENCE North 23 degrees 46 minutes East a distance
of 340 feet with the west property line of said Pre-
sbyterian Church tract to a steel rod for a corner,
said corner being the Northwest corner of the-Pres-
byterian Church tract;
THENCE North 79 degrees East a distance of 329.1 feet
along the north property line of said tract to a steel
rod for a corner, said corner being the northeast corner
of said tract;
THENCE South 0 degrees 24 minutes West a distance of
of 331.3 feet to the place of beginning, and contain-
ing 2.80 acres of land, more or less.
now zoned "A" Single Family Dwelling, be zoned "A -3" Multiple Family Dwel-
ling, in accordanco with Ordinances Nos. 33 and 153 and subsequent amend-
ments thereto.

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage as by law provided.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING on the 14th day of July, 1964, at
a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas; and
given Second Reading, passed and approved on the 28th day of July, 1964,
by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays at a Regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Euless, Texas.
