HomeMy WebLinkAbout229 07-28-1964ORDINANCE NO. 229 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED AS THE TEMPORARY CONPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDING; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on action of the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, the real property herinafter described, situated within the City, and having held a public hearing thereon in which all interested persons and owners of property in the vicinity of said realty were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard in connection with said application, having recommended to the City Council a change in the zoning designation of said tract, and as by law provided, publication of a Notice in the Daily News - Texan, the official newspaper of the City on the 7th day of May, 1964, and after said public hearing being held in accordance with the said notice in which allowners of property in the City of Euless, Texas, were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard, the City Council deems it to be to the best interest of said City and its inhabitants that such recommendation be approved: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF Ti:E CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: I. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning map of the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordnance No. 33, be amended to read as follows: THAT the designation of a tract of land in the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows: The following described property is located adjacent to State Highway 183: TRACT I. BEGINNING at the intersection of the North right -of -way of Highway 183 and the West line of Raider Drive; THENCE, North 325.9 feet with the West line of Raider Drive; THENCE, in a southwesterly direction, 300 feet from and parallel to the North line of Highway 183, approximately 1250 feet to the Euless City Limits; THENCE, South with the Euless City Limits, 325.9 feet to the North' line of Highway 183; THENCE, in a Northeasterly direction with the North line of mighway 183, approxiaately 1250 feet to the point of beginning.
