AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP TO
CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFF-
ECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on action of the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless,
the real property hereinafter described, situated within the City, and
having held a public hearing thereon in which all interested persons and
owners of property in the vicinity of said realty were given ample and
sufficient opportunity to be heard in connection with said application,
having recommended to the City Council a change in the zoning designation
of said tract, and as by law provided, publication of a Notice of Final
Hearing on such recommendation was made by publishing the same in the Daily
News - Texan, the official newspaper of the City on the 7th day of May, 1964,
and after said public hearing being held in accordance with the said not-
ice in which all owners of property in the City of Euless, Texas, were
given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard, the City Council deems
it to be to the best interest of said City and its inhabitants that such
recommendation be approved:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXASt

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended to
read as follows:
THAT the designation of a tract of land in the City of
Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:
TRACT I:
BEGINNING at a point in the west right -of -way line of
North Main Street 300 ft. north of Highway 183;
THENCE north 250 feet to the north right-of-way of
Duckett Drive;
THENCE west 405 ft. to property zoned Local Business-
by Ordinance #130;
THENCE South 250 ft. to a corner;
Thence east 405 ft. to the point of beginning.
TRACT 'II
BEGINNING at a point the west right -of -way line of North
Main Street 530 feet north of the north right -of -way line
of Hiller Drive;
THENCE north 715 ft. to the southeast curner of property
now zoned Local Business by Ordinance #103;
THENCE west 300 ft. to a corner;
THENCE south 715 ft. to a point in the north line of pro-
perty now zoned Local Business by Ordinance #215.
THENCE east 300 ft. to the point of beginning.
TRACT III:
BEGINNING at a point in the east right -of -way line of North
Main Street 300 ft. north of Highway 183;
THENCE east 300 ft.;
THENCE north 437 ft. to the north edge of property zoned
Local Business by Ordinance #136;
THENCE west 300 ft. to North Plain Street;
THENCE south 437 ft. to the point of beginning.
TRACT IV:
BEGINNING at a point in the east right -of -way line of North
Main Street 875 ft. north of the north right -of -way of East
Fuller Drive;
THENCE north 1560 ft.;
THENCE east 300 ft. to a corner;
THENCE south 1560 ft. to the northeast corner of property
zoned Local Business by Ordinance #113;
THENCE west 300 ft. to the point of beginning.
TRACT V
BEGINNING at a point at the southwest corner of the property
zoned Local Business by Ordinance #33 and in the north right -
of -way line of Pipeline Rd.;
THENCE west along the north right -of -way of Pipeline Rd. for
1221 ft. to the northeast corner of Vine Street and Pipeline
Rd.;
THENCE north 155 ft. along the east right -of -way of Vine Street;
THENCE east 1221 ft. to a point in the west line of the pro-
perty zoned Local Business by Ordinance #33;
THENCE south 155 ft. to the place of beginning.
now zoned "A" Single Family Dwelling, be zoned "B" Local Business, in acc-
ordance with Ordinances No. 33 and No. 1539 and subsequent amendments
thereto.
II.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as by law provided.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING ON THE 23rd day of June, 1964, at
a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas; and
given Second Reading, passed and approved on the 28th day of July, 1964,
by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nayes at a Regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Euless, Texas.
