AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDNANCE FOR
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP
TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on action of the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless,
the real property hereinafter described, situated within the City, and
having held a public hearing thereon in which all interested persons and
owners of property in the vicinity of said realty were given ample and
sufficient opportunity to be heard in connection with said application,
having recommended to the City Council a change in the zoning designation
of said tract, and as by law provided, publication of a Notice of Final
Hearing on such recommendation was made by publishing the same in the
Euless Herald, the official newspaper of the City on the 23rd day of July,
1964, and after said public hearing being .held in accordance with the
said notice in which all owners of property in the City of Euless, Texas,
were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard, the City Council
deems it to be to the best interest of said City and its inhabitants that
such recommendation be approved:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended to
read as follows:
THAT the designation of a tract of land in the City of Euless,
Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:
BEGINNING 1890 ft. North and 25.0 ft. West of the Southeast
corner of the J. P. Halford Survey. Said point being in the
West R.O.W. line of North Main Street;
THENCE North 88 deg. 37 minutes West a distance of 300.0 ft.
to a point;
THENCE Nortn 0 deg. 35 min. East a distance of 151.0 ft. to
a point;
THENCE North 88 deg. 33 min. West along North line of 5 acre
tract of land conveyed to M. L. Tillery as recorded in Volume
17259 Page 169, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, for a
distance of 130.0 ft. to a point;
THENCE South 0 deg. 35 min. South a distance of 150.9 ft. to
a point;
THENCE South 88 deg. 37 min. East a distance of 130.0 ft. to
the point of beginning.
now zoned "A" Residential, be zoned "B" Local Business, in accordance
with Ordinance No. 33, and subsequent amendments thereto.
II.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as by law provided.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING ON THE 25th day of August ,
1964, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Euless, Texas; and given Second Reading, passed and approved on the 8th
day of September , 1964, by a vote of 5 ayes and O nayes
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
