AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COM)'REHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP
TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on action of the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless,
the real property hereinafter described, situated within the City and
having held a public hearing thereon in which all interested persons and
owners of property in the vicinity of said realty were given ample and
sufficient opportunity to be heard in connection with said application,
having recommended to the City Council a change in the zoning designation
of said tract, and as by law provided,publication of a Notice of Final
Hearing on such recommendation was made by publishing the same in the
Eul" s Herald, the official newspaper of the City on the 23rd day of July,
1964, and after said public hearing being held in accordance with the
said notice in which all owners of property in the City of Euless, Texas,
were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard, the City Council
deems it to be to the best interest of said City and its inhabitants that
such recommendation be approved:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended to
read as follows:
THAT the designation of a tract of land in the City of Euless,
Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:
Being a part of the 2.7 acres out of the Kitty House Survey,
Abstract 687, being a part of the J. B. Holder Tract as re-
corded in Volume 2799, Page 417, Deed Records, Tarrant County,
Texas.
BEGINNING at a point in the South R.O.W. line of Pipeline
Rd. said point being 790 feet West of the Intersection of
Pipeline Rd. and Euless Blvd.;
THENCE West by South in line with Euless Blvd. for 400 ft. to
a point;
THENCE North 120 ft. to a corner in the South R.O.W. line of
Pipeline Rd'
THENCE East 350 ft. to the point of beginning.
BEGINNING at a point in the South R.O.W. line of Pipeline Rd.
said point being the Northwest corner of a piece of property
zoned Commercial by Ordinance No. 92.
THENCE South 200 ft. to a corner;
THENCE West by South in line with Euless Blvd. for 214.0 ft.
to a corner;
THENCE North 230 ft. to a corner in the South R.O.W. line of
Pipeline Rd.;
THENCE East 205.0 ft. to a point of beginning.
now zoned "A" Residential, be zoned:'.'C "Commercial, in accordance with
Ordinance No. 33, and subsequent amendments thereto.
IT.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as by law provided.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING ON THE 25th day of August
1964, at a reaular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas; and given Second Reading, passed and approved on the 8th day of
September , 19647 by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nayes at
a regular meeting of the City Councilof the City of Euless, Texas.
