AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING
CHERRY DRIVE EXTENDING NORTH FROM THE
EULESS- BEDFORD ROAD IN THE TUCKER ADDI-
TION TO THE CITY OF EULESS, TARRANT COUNTY,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, Cherry Drive extending north from the Euless - Bedford
Road in the Tucker Addition to the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas,
has not at any time been open to the public as a street or thoroughfare,
and,
WHEREAS „ the said Cherry Drive extending north from Euless - Bedford
Road has been abandoned by the City of Euless, Texas, and will not be
used as a public street or thoroughfare, and
WHEREAS, there are no utilities located in such street nor is
the installation of utilities in such street anticipated, and
WHEREAS, the maintenance of such street will be of no further
benefit to the public and serve no useful purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
That Cherry Drive extending north from the Euless- Bedford Road in
the Tucker Addition to the City of Euless, Texas, be, and the same is
hereby abandoned and closed as a public street.

That this Ordinance shall become effective from and after its
passage by the Euless City Council.
PASSED and approved as an emergency Ordinance on the 22 day
of June , 19653 by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
