AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL BUDGET OF THE
CITY OF EULESS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1, 1964
THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 1965; AUTHORIZING THE EXPEND-
ITURE OF BUNDS FOR CITY ENGINEERING SERVICES AND FOR
CITY PARK DEPARTMENT PURPOSES; REALLOCATING GENERAL
FUND EXPENDITURES AND REDESIGNATION OF DESCRIPTION;
PROVIDING THAT A COPY OF THIS ORDINANCE BE ATTACHED
TO AND MADE A PART OF THE 1964 -65 OFFICIAL BUDGET
FOR THE CITY OF EULESS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, It has become a matter of necessity for the Euless City
Council to amend the official budget for the City of Euless adopted on
September 22, 1964, for the fiscal year October 1, 1964, through
September 30, 1965, and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless has a need for the creation of a City
Engineering Departmert and a City Parks Department requiring the
expenditure of funds forthwith for such costs and expenses, and
WHEREAS, the Euless City Council has by its official act found it
necessary in order to provide for the health, safety and welfare of its
citizens and the appropriate expenditure of public funds to establish a
City Engineering Department and City Park Department and to provide
for the expenditure of funds for salbries and related costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS:
General Fund expenditures as set forth on page 2 of the 1964 -65
City Budget is hereby amended by the addition of the following:
Dept. No. Department 1964 -65 Estimate
Auciust & September
31 Engineering $ 4,275.00
52 Parks $ 5,945.00
That a detailed copy of such Budget amendment creating the City Engineering
Department and City Park Department is attached to this Amending Ordinance
and is by reference incorporated herein and made a part hereof for all purposes.

August 24, 1965
That capital improvement bond funds shall be expended in payment
of engineering services and salaries and park department services and
salaries only to such extent that such services are directly applicable
to the capital improvement program and in accordance with the fund allo-
cation as set forth in such capital improvement program which is incor-
porated in and a part of the 1964 -65 Euless City Budget.
A copy of this Amending Ordinance shall be attached to and is
hereby made a part of the original Budget of the City of Euless for the
fiscal year October 1, 1964 through September 30, 1965.
This Ordinance shall become effective and shall be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its adoption and publication as
required by the law and the Euless City Charter.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Euless'. Texas, on this
24th day of August, 1965.
