Dear Citizens,
We are saddened
by the death of
Council Member
Donna Mickan in
January. Donna
was active on
many committees in the City,
her church and her
neighborhood. She will be
missed by all who knew this
lovely lady. Please note we are
having a special election at the
same time of our May General
election to fill Donna's seat.
Spring Break is March 11-15 and
Euless is filled with opp-
ortunities to enjoy special
events, both inside and out.
Texas Star golf course is a
popular place for relaxing on
the course, the patio, the grill or
shopping in the golf shop. The
Library will hold special
activities during Spring Break
and of course Parks and
Recreation always is planning
events for our citizens.
Do volunteer for some of the
many activities and special
thanks for all YOU do to keep
BUILDING A BETTER
TOMORROW.

Spring on the Patio
Spring in Texas is one of= -the most beautiful
times of the year. The weather is normally
pretty perfect. The land is green and everyone is
simply happy after an off and on winter. This is
the chance for you to take advantage of a
gorgeous get together with friends and family
out on the patio at Raven's Grille overlooking
the 18th green. One can watch the sun set over
the fairway beyond the trees, while sipping on
white wine and enjoying a delicious Salmon
Caesar Salad. The patio is a great way to relax
after work or after a round on the course. Our
menu has some fresh additions that are just
waiting to be tried and our friendly wait staff is
looking forward to your arrival. So, take this
opportunity to enjoy the patio at the Raven's
Grille before the sweltering heat of summer
pushes us all back inside.
The Raven's
Recommendations:
Johnson's Crossing Salad Trio, a refreshing
combination of salads and fruit, paired with a
glass of Estancia Pinot Grigio. Share with
friends an order of our popular Gulf Crab
Cakes and a bottle of Kendall Jackson
Chardonnay. Shiner Bock Pork Chops go great
with a Shiner Bock or a glass of Mark West
Pinot Noir. And don't forget dessert! Our very
popular Texas Star Chocolate Cake, an old-
fashioned chocolate sheet cake with chocolate
pecan icing, really rounds out an evening paired
with a closing glass of Rodney Strong Merlot.
The Library will be closed Friday,
Saturday and Sunday of Easter weekend.
