HomeMy WebLinkAboutEuless Today 12/20131013 *December Dear Citizens, r Happy Holidays! December offers a multitude of opp- ortunities where families spend time together while appreciating the true meaning of the season. We kick off December with our annual Parade of Lights. Family, friends and volunteers gather together to watch Santa and Mrs. Claus and all the wonderfully decorated cars and floats participate in a Patriotic Christmas theme. Santa will be at the Texas Star for breakfast the next weekend and then the Heritage Park the same afternoon for an old fashioned Christmas. The Library has arranged for Pete the Cat author Eric Litwin to perform. This will be a fun performance for all ages. They are also continuing the "Write Night" monthly series that will focus on Christmas cards. We really appreciate our volunteers and the hours they give to make our community so great. As the calendar year comes to a close, we encourage you to nominate a volunteer for their outstanding talents given to our city during 2013. Together we are Building a Better Tomorrow and Remembering our Heritage.
