AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AN EASEMENT WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS OF EULESS, TEXAS, LOCATED
AT Huitt Lane & South Main, Lot 28 Alexander.&
Cullum Subdivision.
WHEREAS, Edison Cromer and wife, Reba Cromer, are the owners
of that one certain tract of land as described on the attached Exhibit "A"
across which there is a dedicated drainage easement, and
WHEREAS, such drainage easement is more particularly described
as set forth in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and by reference
incorporated herein, and
WHEREAS, the said Edison Cromer and wife, Reba Cromer, have
appeared personally before the Euless City Council and petitioned the
Euless City Council to abandon such drainage easement and in connection
with such petition have publicly stated that there remains no further need
therefor, and that as owners of the property described in Exhibit "A", they
do request the City to abandon and close such drainage easement, and
WHEREAS, the said Edison Cromer and wife, Reba Cromer, have
agreed to save and hold the City of Euless harmless from any damage which
may result or occur to the said property described in Exhibit "A" by reason
of the abandonment and closing of said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE EULESS CITY COUNCIL:
1.
That the drainage easement described on the plat attached hereto as
Exhibit "A ", be, and the same is hereby abandoned as a drainage easement.
2.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from
and after its passage as required by the Euless City Charter.
PRESENTED and given First Reading on the 22nd day of February ,
1966, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas, and given Second Reading, passed and approved on the 8th_ day of
March 1966, by a vote of 4 ayes and O nays at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
