AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPOIzARY COMPREHENSIVE MNING ORDINANCE. OF
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP
TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after consideration
of application from James A. & R. Lindley Lucas, owners of the real property
hereinafter described situated within the City, and having held a Public Hearing
thereon in which all interested persons and owners of property in the vicinity
of said realty were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard in connec-
tion with said application, having recommended to the City Council a change in
the zoning designation of said tract, and as by law provided, publication of a
Notice of Final Hearing, on such recommendation was made by publishing the same
in the Euless Herald , the official newspaper of the City on the 24th
day of February , 1966, and after said public hearing being held in accor-
dance with the said notice in which all owners of property in the City of Euless,
Texas were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard, the City Council
deems it to be to the best interest of said City and its inhabitants that such
recommendation be approved;

EULESS, TEXAS:

IT IS 1M2EBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the City
of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended to read as follows:
That the designation of a tract of land in the City of Euless, Tarrant
County, Texas, described as follows:
BEING a 7.709 acre tract of land out of the Terrell Jasper
Survey, A -861, Tarrant County, Texas and being further described
by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING 389.0 feet East and 25.0 feet South 1 degree 01 minute
East of the Northwest corner of said Jasper Survey, said point
also being in the South R.O.W. line of Huffman Drive;
THENCE, North 89 degrees 47 minutes East along said South R.O.W.
line of Huffman Drive 324.0 feet to a point;
THENCE, South 0 degrees 48 minutes East 80.0 feet;
THENCE, South 35 degrees 59 minutes East
THENCE, South 87 degrees 00 minutes ',rest
THENCE, South 81 degrees 17 minutes 7%'est
THENCE, South 73 degrees 00 minutes ',.Test

of beginning, and containing 5.709 acres

now zoned "A" residential be changed to "C" Commercial, in accordance with
Ordinance No. 33 and subsequent amendments thereto.

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as by law provided.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING on the 12th day of AEri : ,
1966, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas; and GIVEN SECOND READING, passed and approved on the 26th I day of
April , 1966, by a vote of 3 ayes and 0, nays at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
