AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 147
IDENTIFIED AS THE SUBDIVISION RULES AND
REGULATIONS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS, AMENDING SU-SECTION 2(C) OF SECTION
III C; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION
OF SUCH ORDINANCE; PROVIDING A SEVERANCE CLAUSE;
AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Euless City .'.ounci I cs esi- ,inat d al l areas of
development and proposed subdivision or' Lracts and property within the
City of Euless a potential drainage problem requiring the approval of
the Euless City Engineer,
Nowt, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
That subparagraph 2(c) of Section III C, entitled "Preliminary Plat1°
be amended to read as follows;
"(c) Location of boundary or property lines; width and location of
platta -d streets, alleys, and easements within or adjacent to the
property being subdivided; present physical features on the land
Including natural and artificial water courses, ditches, ravines,
culverts, bridges, present structures, and any other features
directly pertinent to the land being subdivided, location of any
existing utilities and pipe lines, showing pipe sizes and capacities
of storm sewers and drainage structures, outline of any existing
wooded areas or location of Individual large trees.
"A topographicai asap shall be superimposed on all preliminary plats
filed with City. Contour Intervals of such asap shall not be greater
than two (2) feet with all elevations sham thereon tied to City
datum plane or such datum plane of any public authority that may
have established a datum plane In the City of Euless or Its extra
territorial jurisdiction. The plat shall contain the approximate
acreage or size of the proposed subdivision.

Any person ilolating ordinance or are,; portio., Chereof shall
upon conviction be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less
then $a10.04 not more than �'_00.00, and Ecach day that sue--h violation
continues shall be considered a separate off ens,! and punishable
accordingly.
3.
If any section or part of any section or paragraph of this ordinance
is declared Invalid or unconstitutional for any reason, It shall not he
held to Invalidate or impair the validity, force cw effect of any other
section or sections or parts of a section or paragraph of this ordinance.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as by law provided.
