AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX ON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY
IN THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR 1966, PRO-
VIDING PENALTIES, INTEREST AND LEGAL REMEDIES FOR THE
COLLECTION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I,
That a tape Is hereby levied upon all taxable property In the City
of Euless, Texas, for the year of 1966, at the rate of seventy -seven cents
(770) per One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) valuation.

That there shall be and there Is hereby levied the following taxes
on each one hundred ($100.00) dollar valuation on all taxable property
within the City of Euless, Texas, to be assessed and collected by the Tax
Assessor and Collector for the year 1966, and said taxes are to be assessed
and collected for the purposes hereinafter stipulated, to -wit:
(a) For the General Fund levied on
the $100.00 valuation $0.5500
(b) For the interest and Sinking Fund
levied on the $100.00 valuation � 1201200

That penalties and interest shall accrue to the City of Euless as
provided by Section 6, Article IX of the Euless City Charter and as authorized
by the statutes of the State of Texas and that such penalties and interest as
so provided are hereby adopted and shall accrue to the City of Euless when
city taxes become delinquent. The City of Euless is hereby authorized to
adopt any and all legal romedles provided by the Revised Civil Statutes of
the State of Texas and the Euless City Charter for the purpose of collecting
delinquent taxes.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN F 1 RST READING on the 3I St day of August, 1966,
at a called meeting of the City Connell of the City of Euless, Texas; and
given SECOND READING, passed and approved on the „ 131h of September,
1966, by a vote of ayes and , ,rQ nays at a regular m"t I ng of the City
Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
