AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF
DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING MAP
TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, after consideration
of application from Andy Winters, hereinafter described situated within the
City, and having held a Public Hearing thereon in which all interested persons
and owners of property in the vicinity of said realty were given ample and
sufficient opportunity to be heard in connection with said application, having
recommended to the City Council a change in the zoning designation of said tract,
and as by law provided, publication of a Notice of Final Hearing, on such
recommendation was made by publishing the same in the Euless Herald ,
the official newspaper of the City on the 27th day of October ,
1966 , and after said public hearing being held in accordance with the
said notice in which all owners of property in the City of Euless, Texas, were
given ample and sufficient opportunity to be heard, the City Council deems it
to be to the best interest of said City and its inhabitants that such recorrnnenda-
tion be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS;
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the City of
Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 33, be amended to read as follows:
That the designation of a tract of land in the City of Euless, Tarrant
County, Texas, described as follows:
FIELD NOTES of a tract of land out of the James Matson Survey,
A -1080, Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by
metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING 60.8 feet South 89 degrees 43 minutes West of the
Northwest corner of Timberline Estates, 1st filing, Euless,
Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 38840, Page 60,
Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE South 10 degrees 16 minutes East 531.9 feet to a point
for corner;
THENCE South 72 degrees 43 minutes West 247.2 feet to the
beginning of a curve to the right, radius of 798.35 feet;
THENCE Westerly with said curve to the right, 234.1 feet to
the end of said curve;
THENCE South 89 degrees 52 minutes West cpproximoto!Y 70 feet
to a point in the propos d East R.O.W. line of Northwest
Boulevard;
THENCE Northerly along said East R.O.W. line of Northwest
Boulevard: With a curve to the left, radius of 858.51 feet,
approximately 77 feet to a point; North 0 degrees 19 minutes
West 170.0 feet to a point; the beginning of a curve to the
right, radius of 683.93 feet; Northeasterly with said curve
to the right, 409.0 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 89 degrees 43 minutes East 317.2 feet to the place
of beginning, and containing 6.0 acres of land, more or less;
now zoned "A" Residential be changed to "A -2" Duplex Zoning, in accordance with
Ordinance No. 33 and subsequent amendments thereto.
II.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
;7is by law provided,
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING on the 10th day of January_ , 1_967 ,
at a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas;
and GIVEN SECOND READING, passed and approved on the 24th day of
January , 1967 , by a vote of 4 __ ayes and 0 nays at a
Regular meeting of tfie City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
