AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTIFIED
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF 5.74 ACRE TRACT EAST
OF SOMERSET PLACE ADDITION, iST INSTALLMENT, OUT OF
SOLOMON HUITT SURVEY, ABSTRACT 705, FROM "R -1" SINGLE
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO "R -3" MULTIPLE FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT, AND ADJACENT 5.73 ACRE TRACT, FROM
"R -1" SIDLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO "L -1" LIMITED
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT; AMENDING THE ZONING MAP TO CONFORM;
PROVIDING A PENALTY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the City
of Euless. Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to read as
follows:
That the zoning classification of the following described property
now zoned "R -1" Single Family Dwelling District be changed to "R -3" Multiple
Family Dwelling District:
Being a tract of land situated in the Solomon Huitt Survey, Abstract
No. 705, Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point for corner, same being South 89 degrees,
47 minutes, 37 seconds East 1048.99 feet from the Southeast
corner of the First Installment of Somerset Place Addition,
an addition to the City of Euless, Texas according to the
plat recorded in Volume 388 -44 page 96 in the Plat Records
of Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE North 00 degrees, 07 minutes, 57 seconds East 865.35
feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 89 degrees, 45 minutes East 288.77 feet to a
point for corner;
THENCE South 00 degrees, 07 minutes 57 seconds West 866.12
feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 89 degrees, 35 minutes West 288.77 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 5.74 acres of land;
And that the zoning classification of the following described property
now zoned "R -1" Single Family Dwelling District be changed to "L -1" Limited
industrial District:
Being a tract of land situated in the Solomon Huitt Survey,
Abstract No. 705, Tarrant County, Texas, and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point for corner, same being South 89
degrees, 47 minutes, 37 seconds East 1048.99 feet and South
89 degrees, 35 minutes East 288.77 feet from the Southeast
corner of the First Installment of Somerset Addition, an
addition to the City of Euless, Texas, according to the plat
recorded in Volume 388 -44 page 96 in the Plat Records of
Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE North 00 degrees, 07 minutes, 57 seconds East 866.12
feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 89 degrees 45 minutes East 288.00 feet to a
point for corner;
THENCE South 00 degrees, 07 minutes, 57 seconds West 866.88
feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 89 degrees, 35 minutes West 288.00 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 5.73 acres of land.

Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance, or the amendments
to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than two hundred dollars
($200.00), and each day such violation shall be permitted to exist shall con-
stitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance 347 and subsequent
amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of the State of Texas.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication as provided by the Euless City Charter and the taws
of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING on the 28th day of January, 1969, at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas; and given
Second Reading, passed and approved on the 11th day of February, 1969, by a
vote of 5 _ ayes and 0 nays at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Euless, Texas.
