HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961-07-11103 I Regular Meeting Euless City Council July 11, 1961 The regular meeting of the Euless City Council was held on July 11, 1961. Present were Mayor 3. S. Anderson, Councilmen Bobby Fuller, Roy Braswe’ll, H. M. Huffman, and Billy Byers. The council meeting was opened w i t h a prayre by Councilman Braswell. 1. The minutes of the regular council meeting of June 27, 1961, were read by the City Secretary and approved by the Council. 2. Mr. Herman Smith, Developer o f Wilshire Village, appeared before the City Council s u b m i t t i n g a plat showing Blocks 9, 10, and 11, of the 2nd Addition of Idilshire Village consisting of sixtyfour lots. all electric brick homes i n this area. Two Councilmen voted i n favor of this motion and Councilmen Huffman and Byers did not vote. 5. A motion was made by Councilman Fuller, and seconded by Councilman Huffman, t h a t the City of Euless charge the same penalty and interest rate for 1961 delinquent taxes as t h a t used by the Hurst-Euless Independent School District. motion.
