AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 ENTITLED
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CiTY OF EULESS, TEXAS,
DESIGNATING A SPECIFIC USE FOR OFFICES, STORAGE,
CONSTRUCTION, FABRICATION AND DISPLAY OF PORTABLE
BUILDINGS FOR 1.6 ACRES IN THE J. H. HAVENS SURVEY,
ABSTRACT 685, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF EULESS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE iT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DIRECTED that a specific use as hereinafter
designated, and that the official zoning map of the City of Euless, Texas,
being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended and provided to read as follows:
"That the zoning classification of a tract of land out of the J. H.
Havens Survey, Abstract 685, Tarrant County, Texas, being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the South R.O.W. line of Glade
Road and the West R.O.W. line of Farm -Mkt. Road #157; said point
also being 25 feet South and 50 feet West of the Northeast corner
of said Havens Survey;
THENCE West along said South R.O.W. line of Glade Road, 210.5 feet
to a steel rod for corner;
THENCE South along the tract of an old fence, 331.0 feet to a
steel rod for corner;
THENCE East, 210.5 feet to a steel rod in said West R.O.W. line
of Farm -Mkt. Road #157;
THENCE North along said West R.O.W. line of Farm -Mkt. Road #157,
331.0 feet to a nail, the place of beginning and containing 1.6
acres of land, more or less.
now zoned "R -1" Single Family Dwelling District be reclassified and the zoning
changed to a Specific Use for offices, storage, construction, fabrication and
display of portable buildings, and that the property be restricted to such
specific use as provided in Sub- paragraph 14 of Section 7 -1002 of Zoning
Ordinance No. 347 of the City of Euless, Texas."

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws
of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING on the 14th day of April.
1970, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless. Texas;
and given Second Reading, passed and approved on the 28th day of April
1970. by a vote of 4 ayes and C nays at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
