AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 ENTITLED THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, DESIGNATING
A SPECIFIC USE FOR RETAIL SALE AND DISPLAY OF BOATS FOR
1.65 ACRES IN THE J. H. HAVENS SURVEY, ABSTRACT 685, AMEND-
ING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CiTY OF EULESS AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DIRECTED that a specific use as hereinafter
designated, and that the official zoning map of the City of Euless, Texas,
being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended and provided to read as follows:
"That the zoning classification of a tract of land out of the J. H.
Havens Survey, Abstract 685, Tarrant County, Texas, being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the West line of the Arlington- Grapevine
Road (Farm -to- Market Road 157), being 18 varas West and 128 varas
South of the Northeast corner of the J. H. Havens Survey, said
beginning point being also the most Easterly Northeast corner of
a tract conveyed to J. J. Gilbert by deed dated October 22, 1942,
recorded in Volume 1532, page 482, Deed Records, Tarrant County,
Texas;
THENCE South with the East line of the said Gilbert tract and the
West line of said road, 140 feet to an iron pin set for the south-
east corner of this tract;
THENCE N 890 43' W - 517.1 feet to an iron pin set for the south-
west corner of this tract; said point being a fence line, the West
line of said Gilbert tract;
THENCE N 10 08' E - 140 feet with said fence to an Iron pin for
the Northwest corner of this tract;
THENCE S 890 30' E - 303.1 feet to a pipe In a fence corner;
THENCE East with a fence line - 211.1 feet to the point of
beginning and containing 1.65 acres of land, more or less.
now zoned "R -i" Single Family Dwelling District be reclassified and the
zoning changed to a Specific Use for the retail sale and display of boats,
and that the zoning classification be changed to "C -2" Community Business District
restricted to such specific use as provided in Sub - paragraph 14 of Section
7 -1002 of Zoning Ordinance No. 347 of the City of Euless, Texas."

This Ordinance shall be In full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws
of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING on the 28th day of April,
1970, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas;
and given Second Reading, passed and approved on the 12th day of MaX ,
1970, by a vote of 3 ayes and 0 nays at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
