Roy Braswell, H. M. Huffman, B i l l y Byers, and B i l l y Owens. .I The council meeting was opened w i t h a prayer by Mayor Anderson. The minutes of t h e r r e g u l a r c o u n
c i l meeting of July 25, 1961, and public hearing of August 1, 1961, were read by the C i t y Secretary and approved by the Council. 2. M r . Boby Harvey, representing M r . Paul Huffines,
developer o f the Morrisdale Addition (the Emory Morris property), appeared before t h e C i t y Council w i t h the f i r s t increment o f t h i s a d d i t i o n . A motion was made
by Councilman Braswell, and seconded by Councilman Owens, to approve t h i s p l a t subject t o the approval o f the Planning and Zoning Commission. A l l Councilmen present voted i
n favor of t h i s motion. 3. M r . Herman Smith, developer o f W i l s h i r e V i l l a g e , submitted Increment Section 3 of W i l s h i r e V i l l a g e . A motion was made by
Councilman Huffman, and seconded by Councilman Owens, t h a t t h i s p l a t be approved subject t o the approval of the Planning and Zoning Commission. A l l Councilmen present voted
i n favor o f t h i s motion. 4. A motion was made by Councilman Owens, and seconded by Councilman Braswell, to purchase twenty-eight feet of twenty-four inch concrete t i l e a t a
cost of approximately $70.00 for drainage across the east side of Whitener a t the i n t e r s e c t i o n of Whitener and Broadway, t h i s t i l e to be i n s t a l l e d by Tarrant
County. A l l Councilmen present voted i n favor of t h i s motion. The C i t y Council discussed the dumping o f trash and garbage i n the woods j u s t o f f of Milam Drive. I t was
suggested that I t no dumping'' signs be i n s t a l l e d a t t h i s place.
