Todd Smith, R-Euless, may join local Republicans running for state Senate. The agreement left Senate District 10, represented by Davis, unchanged from the last election. The lines of neighboring Senate districts shifted. State Rep. Mark Shelton, R-Fort Worth, has filed to challenge Davis in the general election. Smith is being challenged for his House seat by Jonathan Stickland in the Republican primary.
