AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 ENTITLED
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF 2.11 ACRES IN THE A. M.
DOWNEN SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 415, FROM "R -1" SINGLE
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO "C -2" COMMUNITY BUSINESS
DISTRICT; AMENDING THE ZONING MAP TO CONFORM; PRO-
VIDING A PENALTY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the City
of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to read as
follows:
'That the zoning classification of a tract of land out of the A. M.
Downen Survey, Abstract 415, Tarrant County, Texas, being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at
a steel rod in the Southeast corner of Lot
1, Block 22,
Oakwood Terrace North Addition, lst. Filing,
as
recorded
in Volume
388 -31, Page
73, Deed Records, Tarrant
County,
Texas;
THENCE South
10 14' East a distance of
42.38 feet;

beginning, containing 2.11

now zoned "R -1" Single Family Dwelling District be reclassified and changed to
"C -2" Community Business District."

Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance, or the amendments
to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than two hundred dollars
($200.00), and each day such violation shall be permitted to exist shall con-
stitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance 347 and subsequent
amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of the State of Texas.
3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of
the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING on the 27th day of July, 1971,
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas; and
given Second Reading, passed and approved on the 10th day of August ,
1971, by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
