AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTI-
FIED AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING ON A 1.2
ACRE TRACT OUT OF THE J. E. FIELD SURVEY. ABSTRACT
NO. 54o, FROM "R -1" SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
TO "C -2" COMMUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT, AND ADJACENT
125.06 ACRES FROM "R -1" SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT TO "PD" PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT; PRO-
VIDING FOR APPLICABLE USES AS SET FORTH IN SECTION
7 -1100 OF CITY OF EULESS ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 347;
APPROVING DEVELOPMENT PLANS; AMENDING THE CITY OF
EULESS ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS THAT:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map
of the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be
amended to read as follows:
"That the zoning classification of the following described
property now zoned "R -1" Single Family Dwelling District be changed to
"C -2" Community Business District:
The following described tract or parcel of land situated in
the J. E. Field Survey, Abstract No. 540, Tarrant County,
Texas and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING in the South line of Glade Road and being about
West a distance of 244.5 feet and S 00 05' W a distance of
25'.0 feet from the Northeast corner of said J. E. Field
Survey;
THENCE East a distance of 220.0 feet;
THENCE S 40 49' W along the West line of Main Street a
distance of 250.9 feet;
THENCE West a distance of 199.3 feet;
THENCE N 00 05' E a distance of 250.0 feet to the place of
beginning, containing 1.2 acres of land more or less.
"That the zoning classification of the following described
property now zoned "R -1" Single Family Dwelling District be changed to
"PD" Planned Development District:
The following described tract or parcel of land situated in
the J. E. Field Survey, Abstract No. 540, Tarrant County,
Texas and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING in the South of Glade Road at the Northwest corner
of a 34.479 acre tract and being about West a distance of
2125.7 feet and S 00 05' W a distance of 25 feet from the
Northeast corner of said J. E. Field Survey;
THENCE East along the South line of Glade Road a distance of
2101.2 feet;
THENCE S 40 49' W along the West line of Main Street a distance
of 1275.9 feet;
THENCE N 890 50' W along the North line of a dedicated road a
distance of 2499.4 feet;
THENCE N 00 05' E along the East line of Field -Doss Road a
distance of 300.0 feet;
THENCE East a distance of 503.5 feet;
THENCE N 00 05' E along West line of said 34.479 acres tract
a distance of 964.2 feet to the place of beginning, containing
63.13 acres of land more or less.

containing 8.63 acres more or less.
as specifically set forth in the development plan submitted
by Applicant dated May 13, 1971, which development plan is on
file in the City of Euless Zoning Records and file attached
to Zoning Case No. 212. That such development plan as sub-
mitted by Applicant and dated May 13, 1971, is incorporated
in this Ordinance by reference and made a part hereof for all
purposes as if copied herein verbatim.

That the applicable use of land pursuant to the Planned Develop-
ment District hereby created, as permitted by Section 7 -1103 City of
Euless Zoning Ordinance No. 347, is as follows:
1. Streets will be built to City's specifications
2. Off- street parking will be constructed to conform to the
City Ordinance (will not extend in front of the building line)
3. Construction of interior sidewalks to meet City requirements.

That the Planned Development District hereby created, being
Zoning Case No. 212, shall be a planned development in the City of
Euless.
4.
This ordinance shall bein full force and effect from and
after its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws
of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of
the Euless City Council on the 28th day of September, 1971; GIVEN
SECOND READING, PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless
City Council on the 12th day of October, 1971, by a vote of 4 ayes and
0 nays and 1 abstained.
