AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT NOTICE BE
GIVEN AND PUBLICATION BE MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH
SECTION 6 OF ARTICLE 970(A) ENTITLED MUNICIPAL
ANNEXATION ACT, AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
That by Resolution No. 292 adopted on the ninth day of November,
1971, the Euless City Council did order that a public hearing be held
at 8:00 o'clock p.m. on the twenty -third day of November, 1971, in the
Council Chamber of the Euless City Hall; that in accordance with Such
Resolution, public notice of hearing on such proposed annexation was
given by publication in the official newspaper for the City of Euless
on the twelfth day of November, 1971; that such public hearing h�-,ving
been held at 8:00 o'clock p.m, on the twenty -third day of November,
1971, and that ail interested parties, their agents and attorneys were
given an opportunity to make known their objections to such prop(�sed
annexation and all who appeared were carefully heard, and all protests
and objections having been made and duly considered by the City Council,
same are hereby overuled and denied.

Exhibit ''A '', attached and made a part hereof, being situated in Tarror,t
COL,n�y, Texas, and lying adjacent to the City of Euless, Texas, is
hereby annexed, brought within the corporate limits and made an integ,ai
part c ;' the said City of Euless, Texas.
It is not the intention of this Ordinance to annex, or atte,pt ro
annex, to the City of Euless, Texas, any territory or land which has
been prior to this date, validly annexed to any other municipaiiity. it
any portion of the annexation declared herein shall for any reason L,,
li,lId void or unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, >uch in-
validity shall not affect the remaining area so annexed.
IV.
i;is Ordinance shall be published at least one time in tho official
ne,f,sp, per of the City of Euless, Texas, in accordance with the provisicn>
of Chet Euless City Charter.

That this Ordinance shall become effective and be in full force
and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than
thirty (30) days from the date of its first publication as aforesaid,
and it is so ordained.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING on the twenty -third day of
November, 1971, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Euless, Texas, and given Final Reading, passed and approved on the
30th day of December , 1971, by a vote of 3 ayes and
0 nays at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas.

Beginning at a point for corner in the present Common Fort Worth and Euless
City limit line in the north right-of-way line of Pipe Line Terminal Road
(County Road No, 3005), said point for corner also h2ing in the south line
of Lot 6, Block 2, J. E. Anitner Estates Addition, and 67 feet west from
the southeast corner of said lot.
THENCE North, along and with the Common Fort Worth and Euless city limit
line to a point for corner in the north line of Lot 27, Block 2, J. E.
Whitner Estates, and 67 feet west from the northeast corner of said lot.
THENCE continuing North, along and with the Comacn Fort North and Euless
city limit line a distance of 1400 feet, more or less, zo a point for corner
