AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTiFIED AS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF A 6.23 ACRE TRACT OUT OF THE
SOLOMON HUITT SURVEY, ABSTRACT 705, FROM "R -1" SiNGLE
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO "PD" PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR APPLICABLE USES AS SET FORTH
IN SECTION 7 -1100 OF THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING ORDI-
NANCE NO. 347; APPROVING DEVELOPMENT PLANS; AMENDING
THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of
the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended
to read as follows:
"That the zoning classification of the following described
property now zoned "R -1" Single Family Dwelling District be changed to
"PD" Planned Development District:
BEING a tract of land situated in the Solomon Huitt Survey,
Abstract No. 705, City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas,
and being more particularly described by metes and bounds,
as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 5, Block H, 2nd
Installment of Somerset Place Addition, an addition to
the City of Euless, Texas, according to the plat recorded
in Vol. 388, Page 51 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County,
Texas;
THENCE the following courses and distances along the East
line of the 2nd Installment of Somerset Place Addition:
NORTH 06 deg. 52 min. 54. sec. East, 499.71 feet
to a point for corner;
NORTH 42 deg. 50 min. 47 sec. West, 114.51 feet
to a point for corner;
NORTH 89 deg. 47 min. 37 sec. West, 7.18 feet
to a point for corner;
NORTH 13 deg. 09 min. East, 152.61 feet
to a point for corner;
NORTH 76 deg. 51 min. West 4.12 feet to a point
for corner;
THENCE North 12 deg. 52 min. 49 sec. East, 139.07 feet to
a point for corner, same point being the Northeast corner
of Lot 4, Block F, 2nd Installment of Somerset Place
Addition, an addition to the City of Euless, Texas, accord-
ing to the plat recorded in Vol. 388, Page 51 of the Plat
Records of Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE South 89 deg. 45 min. East, along the South line of
Tarrant Land Company tract recorded in Vol. 2342, Page 131
of Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, a distance of
298.68 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 00 deg. 07 min. 57 sec. West, 865.35 feet to
a point for corner in the North line of Westwood Village
Section Four Addition, an addition to the City of Euless,
Texas, according to the map thereof recorded in Vol. 388 -56,
Page 75 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE North 89 deg. 47 min. 37 sec. West along the North
line of said Westwood Village Section Four Addition, a
distance of 332.92 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and
containing 6.23 acres of land,
as specifically set forth in the development plan submitted by Applicant
dated March 14, 1972, which development plan is on file in the City of
Euless Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 217. That
such development plan is composed of the Site Plan approved by the Euless
City Council on March 14, 1972, and that such plan is incorporated in
this Ordinance by reference and made a part hereof for all purposes as
if copied herein verbatim."

That the applicable use of land pursuant to the Planned Develop-
ment District hereby created, as permitted by Section 7 -1103 City of
Euless Zoning Ordinance No. 347, is as follows:
(a) Twenty -four (24) one -story single family cluster
apartments, and
(b) Twenty -eight (28) two -story single family cluster
apartments.
3.
That the Planned Development District hereby created, being
Zoning Case No. 217, shall be entitled SOMERSET VILLAGE, a planned develop-
ment in the City of Euless, Texas.
4.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the
State of Texas.

PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the
Euless City Council on March 14, 1972; GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED AND
APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on March 28, 1972,
by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
