HomeMy WebLinkAbout426 06-27-1972ORDINANCE NO. 426 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 ENTITLED THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF A PORTION OF TRACT A, BLOCK 1, OAK CREST ESTATES ADDITION AND TRACT B -R -A, BLOCK 2, OAK CREST ESTATES ADDITION, FROM "R -1" SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO "C -2" COMMUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT; ESTABLISHING BUILDING LINE REQUIREMENTS, PROVIDING A PENALTY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347 be amended to read as follows: 'That the zoning classification of a portion of Tract A, Block 1, Oak Crest Estates Addition to the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas according to plat recorded on Page 29 of Volume 388 -14 in the Tarrant County Deed Records and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 18, Block 1, said Oak Crest Estates Addition and being in the East line of Millican Drive; THENCE Northeasterly along the East line of said Xillican Drive and along a circular curve to the right having a radius of 621.0 feet a distance of 189.31 feet to the beginning of a circular curve to the left having a radius of 678.9 feet; THENCE Northeasterly along said curve and along the East line of said Millican Drive a distance of 21.17 feet; THENCE S 890 09' E a distance of 626.49 feet to the old City Limit Line of Euless and Fort Worth, Texas; THENCE N 00 51' E along the old City Limit Line of Euless and Fort Worth, Texas a distance of 300.0 feet to the South line of State Highway No. 183 and also being in the North line of said Tract A; THENCE S 890 09' E along the South line of said State Highway No. 183 a distance of 301.4 feet to the inter- section of the South line of said State Highway No. 183 with the West line of Dickey Drive and also being the Northeast corner of said Tract A; THENCE S 10 06' E along the West line of said Dickey Drive a distance of 5.6 feet to the beginning of a circular curve to the left having a radius of 472.9 feet; THENCE Southeasterly along said curve and along the lJest line of said Dickey Drive a distance of 298.01 feet; THENCE S 880 54' W a distance of 104.52 feet; THENCE S l0 06' E a distance of 131.0 feet; THENCE S 880 54' W a distance of 188.83 feet; THENCE N 10 06' W a distance of 20.3 feet; THENCE S 880 54' W a distance of 32.0 feet; THENCE S 10 06' E a distance of 20.3 feet; THENCE S 880 54' W a distance of 124.3 feet; THENCE S 10 06' E a distance of 60.0 feet; THENCE S 880 54' W a distance of 611.0 feet to place of beginning; LI and a portion of Tract B -R -A, Block 2, Oak Crest Estates Addition to the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, according to plat recorded on Page 537 of Volume 388 -27 in the Tarrant County Deed Records, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 2 -R -A, Block 2, said Oak Crest Estates Addition and also being in the East line of Dickey Drive; THENCE Northwesterly along the East line of said Dickey Drive and along a circular curve to the left having a radius of 290.5 feet a distance of 111.76 feet to the beginning of a circular curve to the right having a radius of 412.9 feet; THENCE Northwesterly along said curve and along the East line of said Dickey Drive a distance of 212.03 feet to the intersection of the East line of said Dickey Drive with the South line of a service road of State Highway No. 183; THENCE S 890 09' E along the South line of said service road of said State Highway No. 183 a distance of 286.05 feet; THENCE S 10 06' E a distance of 271.87 feet to the Southeast corner of said Tract B -R -A; -2- THENCE S 880 54' W along the North line of said Lot 2 -R -A, said Block 2 a distance of 132.57 feet to place of beginning; now zoned "R -1" Single Family Dwelling District be reclassified and changed to "C -2" Community Business District." 2. That the Developer is required to file a Preliminary Site Plan for approval by the Euless City Council, establishing the building line setbacks, as follows: Thirty (30) feet North of the South boundary line in the area situated adjacent to Lots 8 -R, 9-R, 10 -R, 11 -R, 12 -R and 13 -R, Block 1, Oak Crest Estates Addi- tion, and Fifteen (15) feet North of the South boundary line in the area situated adjacent to Tracts A -1 -A and A -2 -13, Block 1, Oak Crest Estates Addition. 3. P.ny person violating the provisions of this Ordinance, or the amendments to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than two hundred dollars ($200.00), and each"day such violation shall be per - mitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance 347 and subsequent amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of the State of Texas. 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State of Texas. PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on June 13, 1972; GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on June 27, 1972, by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
