AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTIFIED AS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "C -1" NEIGHBORHOOD
BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "C -2" COMMUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT
WITH A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT; PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT
OF THIS TRACT OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED ACCORDING TO APPROVED
PLANS; AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS THAT:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of
the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended
to read as follows:
"That the zoning classification of the following described
property now zoned "C -1" Neighborhood Business District be changed to
"C -2" Community Business District with Specific Use Permit:
The following described tract or parcel of land situated in
the William G. Matthews Survey, A -1052, Tarrant County, Texas
and being a portion of Tract A, Block 1, WHITENER ESTATES,
to the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas and being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of SPRING VALLEY APARTMENT
ADDITION, to the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas
according to plat recorded on Page 37 of Volume 388 -65 in
the Tarrant County Deed Records and also being in the East
line of South Main Street;
THENCE S 890 59' E along the South line of said SPRING VALLEY
APARTMENT ADDITION a distance of 484.65 feet;
THENCE S Oo 04' E a distance of 134.7 feet;
THENCE N 890 59' W a distance of 484.85 feet to the East
line of said South Main Street;
THENCE N 0 Ol' E along the East line of said South Main
Street a distance of 134.7 feet to place of beginning,
containing 1.499 acres of land more or less,
as specifically set forth in the development plan submitted by Applicant
dated March 20, 1973, which development plan is on file in the City
of Euless Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 230.

That the applicable use of land pursuant to the "C -2" Community
Business District with a Specific Use Permit for a Roller Skating Rink, as
permitted by Section 7 -1002, City of Euless Zoning Ordinance No. 347, with
a Specific Use Permit designated as a restricted covenant to be recorded.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the
State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the
Euless City Council on May 22, 1973; GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED AND
APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on June 12, 1973
by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
