AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16 SECTION 16 -3 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF EULESS, MONTHLY CHARGES FOR
SERVICES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS:
SECTION I: That the schedule of monthly rates and charges for
water and sewer services furnished or caused to be furnished by the
City as set out in Chapter 16, Section 16 -3 of the Code of Ordinances,
City of Euless be, and the same hereby is, amended as follows:

The Commercial and Industrial rate is intended to apply to only those
establishments which will contribute domestic sewage only. Commercial
and Industrial customers of a type producing abnormal sewage such as
might require screening or pretreatment will be extended services under
conditions prescribed by Ordinance No. 469.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
any provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: The fact that the enactment of this ordinance is necessary
to preserve the public business, health, safety and general welfare creates
an emergency and requires that this ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage.
