AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTIFIED AS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "C -2" COMMUNITY
BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "R -5" MULTI - FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THIS TRACT OF
LAND TO BE DEVELOPED ACCORDING TO APPROVED PLANS;
AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of
the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended
to read as follows:
"That the zoning classification of the following described property
now zoned "C -2" Community Business District be changed to "R -5" Multi -
Family Dwelling District on property described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Easterly corner Lot A -2, Block 1, said
Addition. Said point being an iron pin;
THENCE, S 84 degrees 42 minutes E 91.0 feet to an iron pin
for corner;
THENCE, N 48 degrees 35 minutes E 100.6 feet to an iron pin
in the West R.O.W. line of Vine Street, said point being
in a curve to the right with radius of 131.3 feet;
THENCE, in a southerly direction along said curve 43.6 feet to
the end of curve;
THENCE, S 1 degree 30 minutes E 365 feet along West R.O.W.
line of Vine Street to the P.C. of a curve to the left
with a radius of 387_46 feet
THENCE, in a southeasterly direction along said curve 85.0
feet to an iron pin for corner. Said point also being the N.E.
corner Lot 1 -R, Block 1, Oakwood Terrace as recorded in
Volume 388.10, Page 57 P.R.T.C.T.;
THENCE, N 89 degrees 10 minutes W 529.1 feet to an iron pin
in East R.O.W. line of Norman Drive;
THENCE, N 2 degrees 12 minutes W 218.4 feet along East R.O.W.
line Norman Drive to an iron pin for corner, also being the
S.W. corner Lot A -3, Block 1, said Addition;
THENCE, N 77 degrees 51 minutes 16 seconds E 84.82 feet to
an iron pin for corner;
THENCE, N 53 degrees 57 minutes 05 seconds E 321.47 feet to the
place of beginning and containing 184,260 square feet.
as specifically set forth in the development plan as submitted by Applicant
dated May 9, 1974, which development plan is on file in the City of
Euless Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 242.':'

Any Person violating the provisions of this Ordinance, or the
amendments to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed
guilty of a Misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than
Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), and each day such violation shall be
permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense, as provided by
Ordinance No. 347 and subsequent amendments of the Euless City Charter and
Statutes of the State of Texas.
3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State
of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the
Euless City Council on the 9th day of July, 1974; GIVEN SECOND READING
PASSED AND APPROVED at a called meeting of the Euless City Council
on the 20th day of July, 1974 by a vote of 3 ayes and 0 nays.
