Euless City Council
December 12, 1961
The regular meeting of the Euless City
Council' was held on December 72, 1961. Present were Mayor J. S. Anderson,
councilmen Billy Byers, Roy Braswell, Bobby Fuller, and H. M. Huffman.

Councilman Braswell moved that Mr. Thompson,
Civil Defense Director, be authorized to get the generator installed to working
capacity at a cost not to exceed $200.00. Councilman Fuller seconded the motion
and the vote in favor was Unanimous.

A
The minutes
of the regular council meeting of
November
28, 1961, were read
by Mrs. Thompson.
Item No. 2 should read: Mr.
Lang, of
Centro Developers.
Item No. 3 should
read: Three Councilmen voted
for this
motion, Councilman
Owens voted against
it. The minutes were approved
subject
to these changes.

Councilman Braswell moved that Mr. Thompson,
Civil Defense Director, be authorized to get the generator installed to working
capacity at a cost not to exceed $200.00. Councilman Fuller seconded the motion
and the vote in favor was Unanimous.

Councilman Byers moved that the Mayor write
a letter to the Texas Power and Light Company asking that they consider the
question of putting an office in Euless. Councilman Braswell seconded the
motion and the vote in favor was unanimous.

A motion was made by Councilman Byers, and
seconded by Councilman Fuller, to authorize Inspector McAdoo to take care of
the street signs in the new developments. The vote in favor was unanimous.

A motion was made by Councilman Braswell,
and seconded by Councilman Huffman, to authorize the City Attorneys to prepare
an ordinance governing fire works, pellet and BB guns within the city limits.
The vote in favor was unanimous.
A
motion was made by Councilman
Fuller, and
seconded by
Councilman Braswell, that
City Isnpector McAdoo, after
securing the
lowest bid,
have new lights installed
in the city offices at a cost
of $90.00.
He is also
to attend to the building
of a storage rack in the fire
hall.
The vote in
favor was unanimous.

Councilman Byers moved that the Mayor write
a letter to the Texas Power and Light Company asking that they consider the

A motion by Councilman Fuller, and
seconded by Councilman Byers, that the City pay membership dues of inspector
McAdoo in the Building Officials Association of Texas. The vote in favor was
unanimous.
A motion was made by Councilman Braswell,
and seconded by Councilman Fuller, that Mr. W. E. Flippo be retired as City
Secretary as of January 15, 1961. The vote in favor was unanimous.

A motion was make by- Councilman Byers,
and seconded by Councilman F u l l e r , that the City designate M r . B i l l Estes
as Fiscal Agent for the city of Euless. The vote in favor was - unanimous.
