AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING RANGER STREET
IN THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, TO BE ONE -WAY
FROM NORTH TO SOUTH IN THE BLOCK ADJACENT ON
THE EAST TO OAKWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BETWEEN
THE HOURS OF 2:30 P.M. THROUGH 3:30 P.M.,
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY OF EACH WEEK FOR A
PERIOD OF TIME EXTENDING THROUGH JUNE 3, 1977,
UNLESS OTHERWISE EXTENDED BY THIS COUNCIL;
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CHIEF OF POLICE
OF EULESS TO PERFORM A FEA.S?BILITY STUDY, TO
POST NECESSARY TRAFFIC CON'T'ROLS AND TO CAUSE
ENFORCEMENT OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING A
PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; A SEVERANCE
CLAUSE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
Ranger Street in the block adjacent on the East to Oakwood
Elementary School in -the City of Euless, Texas, is hereby desig-
nated beginning February 8, 1977, and extending through June 3,
1977, a one -way street from North to South between the hours of
2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday of each week.

The Euless Chief_ of Police or his designated traffic control
officer, is directed during such period to conduct a traffic
feasibility study to determine if traffic congestion is lessened
by such designation of Ranger Street to be one -way as in this
Ordinance provided. The traffic control study is to be furnished
to the Euless City Council prior to June 3, 1977.

The Euless Chief of Police or his designated traffic control
officer is empowered to post such traffic controls as may be
deemed necessary to enforce such one -way designation and is
further empowered to take appropriate police action, i.e., the
issuance of traffic citations in the enforcement of this Ordinance.
4.
Any person found guilty of violating any provision of this
Ordinance shall be fined an amount not to exceed Two Hundred
Dollars ($200.00).

This Ordinance shall be published at least one time in the
official newspaper of the City of Euless, in accordance with the
provisions of the Euless City Charter.

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as provided by the Euless City
Charter and the laws of the State of Texas, and the Euless City
Charter provision, Article 11, Section 12, requiring ordinances
to be read on two separate dates is hereby suspended.
