AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTIFIED
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "R -2" TWO- FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT AND "C -1" NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS
DISTRICT TO "R -1" SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT:
PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THIS TRACT OF LAND TO BE
DEVELOPED ACCORDING TO APPROVED PLANS: AMENDING THE
CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to read
as follows:
"That the zoning classification of the following described property
now zoned "R -2" Two- Family Dwelling District and "C -1" Neighborhood Business
District be changed to "R -1" Single Family Dwelling District on property
described as follows:
The following described tract or parcel of land being a portion
of Lot 9, Lot 10, Lot 11, Lot 22, Lot 23 and Lot 24, Block 2,
J. E. WHITENER ESTATES, to the City of Euless, Tarrant County,
Texas according to plat recorded on Page 139 of Volume 388 -J
in the Tarrant County Deed Records and being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING in the East line of said Lot 11 and being N 00 05' W
a distance of 235.0 feet from the Southeast corner of said Lot 11;
THENCE N 00 05' W a distance of 573.0 feet to the centerline
of a creek;
THENCE along the centerline of said creek;
N 600 00' W a distance of 155.0 feet;
S 690 00' W a distance of 95.0 feet;
N 150 00' E a distance of 150.0 feet;
N 530 00' W a distance of 85.0 feet;
S 580 04' 20" W a distance of 133.21 feet to the
West line of said Lot 24;
THENCE S 00 05' E a distance of 743.0 feet;
THENCE N 890 51' E a distance of 364.8 feet to place of beginning.
The following described tract or parcel of land being a
portion of Lot 9, Lot 10, and Lot 11, Block 2, J.E. WHITENER
ESTATES, to the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas according
to plat recorded on Page 139 of Volume 388 -J in the Tarrant
County Deed Records and being more particularly described
as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of said Lot 9 and being in
the North line of South Pipeline Road;
THENCE N 890 51' E along the North line of said South
Pipeline Road a distance of 364.8 feet to the Southeast
corner of said Lot 11;
THENCE N 00 05' W along the East line of said Lot 11 a
distance of 235.0 feet;
THENCE S 890 51' E a distance of 364.8 feet to the West line
of said Lot 9;
THENCE S 00 05' E along the East line of said Lot 9 a distance
of 235.0 feet to place of beginning, containing 85,728 square feet
of land more or less
as specifically set forth in the development plan as submitted by Applicant
dated December 1, 1976, which development plan is on file in the City of Euless
Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 256."

Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance, or the
amendments to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed
guilty of a Misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than
Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), and each day such violation shall be permitted
to exist shall constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance No.
347 and subsequent amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of
the State of Texas.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State of
Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the
Euless City Council on the 8th day of February, 1977; GIVEN SECOND READING,
PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of .the Euless City Council on the
22nd day of February , 1977, by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays.
