ITEM 1 —CALL TO ORDER
A regular meeting of the Euless Animal Shelter Advisory Board was

Director Cranor introduced Larry Atkinson, the new Animal Control Supervisor.
ITEM 2 —REVIEW & APPROVE MEETING MINUTES FROMp o

Director Cranor asked if there were any comments or questions regarding

ITEM 3 —SHELTER FACILITY UPDATE
Supervisor Atkinson reported that Treetops School International
collars, and raised money to contribute to GAP to help with spay/neuter donated food, lheshSA
project has been completed in the dog run area. Animal Control hired asc The BSA
come in and paint the doors. The vents were also painted and the storage area h to
been re-organized. Three new cabinets have been purchased. as
ITEM 4 — UPDATE ON GAP
GAP will be holding a Walk-A-Thou on April 16th as a fundraiser.

ITEM 5— PERSONNEL REPORT
Animal Control Supervisor Atkinson reported that Animal Control Officer Jared Kraft
received his Basic ACO license and that he had received his Administrative License.
ITEM 6 — QUARTERLY REPORT
Animal Control Supervisor Atkinson reported that euthanasia numbers for this quarter
are down from the same time last year. The number of feral cats is down and may
contribute to that. Supervisor Atkinson gave an overview of the numbers recorded on
the quarterly report and how those numbers are determined.
ITEM 7 — DANGEROUS DOG ORDINANCE CHANGE — PROPOSED
Mr. Barker discussed the presentation by the City Attorney to the Mayor and City
Council, to change the City Ordinance to mirror new State law provisions for dangerous
dogs.
ITEM 8 —QUESTIONS / COMMENTS
Director Cranor reminded the Board of the next scheduled meeting on July 20`h. Various
adoption fees for those animals at the shelter vs. those fostered with GAP were
discussed. Dr. Read held three (3) "Lunch & Learn" talks with the GAP girls about how
to become a Veterinarian or a Veterinary Tech.
