AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTIFIED
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "C -2" COMMUNITY
BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "I -1" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
WITH A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT; PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT
OF THIS TRACT OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED ACCORDING TO APPROVED
PLANS; AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS THAT:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to read
as follows:
"That the zoning classification of the following described property
now zoned "C -2" Community Business District be changed to "I -1" Light
Industrial District with a Specific Use Permit for sale of water and sewer
supplies, on property described as follows:
Field Notes of a 1.65 acre tract of land out of the J. H.
Havens Survey, A -685, Tarrant County, Texas, and being
further described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at a steel rod in the West R. O. W. line of Farm -
Market Highway #157, being 18 varas West & 128 varas South
of the Northeast corner of said Havins Survey; said beginning
point also being the most Easterly Northeast corner of a
tract conveyed to J. J. Gilbert by deed recorded in Volume
1532, Page 482, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
Thence South along said East line of Gilbert tract and said West
R.O.W. line of Farm - Market Highway #157, 143.55 feet to a steel rod;
Thence North 89 degrees 34 minutes 30 seconds West, with fence
line, 517.4 feet to a steel rod;
Thence North 1 degree 09 minutes East, with fence line, 140.25 feet
to a steel rod;
Thence South 89 degrees 58 minutes 20 seconds East, 304.2 feet to
a steel rod;
Thence South 90 degrees 55 minutes East, 210.4 feet.to a steel rod,
the place of beginning and containing 1.65 acres of land, more
or less
as specifically set forth in the development plan as submitted by Applicant
dated March 25, 1977, which development plan is on file in the City of Euless
Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 259."

Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance, or the
amendments to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than
Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), and each day such violation shall be permitted
to exist shall constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance No.
347 and subsequent amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of
the State of Texas.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State
of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the
Euless City Council on the 12th day of April, 1977; GIVEN SECOND READING,
PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
the 26th day of April , 1977, by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
