December 26, 1961
The regular meeting of the Euless City
Council was held on December 26, 1961. Present were Mayor J. S. Anderson,
Councilmen Roy Braswell, B i l l y Byers, and H. M. Huffman.

The minutes of the previous council meeting
of December 12, 1961, were read by Mr. McAdoo and approved by the Council.

A motion was made by Councilman Braswell,
and seconded by Councilman Huffman, to approve and adopt Ordinance No. 159.
Ordinance No. 159 annexes into the city limits of the city of Euless 100.31
acres of land out of the J. M. Cummings Survey. The vote in favor was
unanimous.
Mr. James Cribbs, City Attorney, presented
an affidavit from Mr. T. E. Cromer and Mr. Lang of Centro Development
Corporation petitioning this annexation.

A motion was made by Councilman Byers,
and seconded by Councilman Huffman, in the absence of Mr. W. E. Flippo to
appoint Mr. G. D. McAdoo, Jr. as Interim City Secretary, arrange for his
Fidelity Bond and authorize him to sign check, effective this date. The
vote in favor was unanimous.
