AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTIFIED
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "C -1" NEIGHBORHOOD
BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "C -1" NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT
WITH "SP" SPECIFIC USE PERMIT; PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT
OF THIS TRACT OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED ACCORDING TO
APPROVED PLANS; AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS THAT:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the
City of Eules, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to read
as follows:
"That the zoning classification of the following described property
now zoned "C -1" Neighborhood Business District be change to "C -1" Neighborhood
Business District with "SP" Specific Use Permit on property described as
follows:
Description of a 27,468.13 square foot tract of land out of
a tract of land owned by Mayflower Trust out of the J. M.
Cummings Survey, Abstract No. 302, Tarrant County, Texas,
said 27,468.13 square foot tract being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the proposed west line of North Main
Street, said point being N 880 14' 54" W, 15.00 feet from
the southeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to the Mid -
Cities Christian Church by deed recorded in Volume 4213,
Page 524, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE, S 010 49' 39" W, with the said proposed west line of
North Main Street, a distance of 125.00 feet, to a point for
corner;
THENCE, N 880 10' 21" W, a distance of 220.00 feet to a point
for corner;
THENCE, N 010 49' 39" E, a distance of 124.71 feet to a point
for corner in the south line of said Mid - Cities Christian
Church tract;
THENCE, S 880 14' 54" E, with the south line of said Mid -
Cities Christian Church tract, a distance of 220.00 feet to
the PLACE OF BEGINNING:
CONTAINING, 27,468.13 square feet, or 0.631 acres of land;
subject to 33 -foot Sinclair pipeline easement
as specifically set forth in the development plan as submitted by Applicant
dated September 5, 1977, which development plan is on file in the City of
Euless Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 262."

Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance, or the
amendments to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than
Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), and each day such violation shall be permitted
to exist shall constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance No.
347 and subsequent amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of
the State of Texas.
3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State
of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the
Euless City Council on the 8th day of November, 1977; GIVEN SECOND READING,
PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
the 22nd day of November , 1977, by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
