GALA COMMITTEE MEETING
MEETING OF APRIL 13, 2016

The Gala Committee of the Teen Court Advisory Board of the cities of Hurst, Euless and
Bedford, Texas met at 6:00 p.m. at Bedford City Hall, Downstairs Conference Room, on the 13th
day of April 2016, with the following members present:
HURST: Dawn Jordan-Wells, Lorrie Dickerson, Jen Tucker
EULESS:
BEDFORD: Kathleen Toms
HEB Teen Court Coordinator— Mindy Eichorst
CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Kathleen Toms called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. with a quorum of four
Board Members present.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Review and discuss Annual Teen Court Scholarship Gala Information.
The Committee Members organized and put together the silent auction items that were donated by
various local businesses. The items were grouped together and logged so they could be added to a
main spreadsheet and given a bid sheet by All for G0000000d. The committee decided that a plaque
and flowers needed to be presented to City of Hurst Councilmember Anna Holzer. Councilmember
Holzer was the Teen Court Liaison for 16 years and was not planning on running again for her seat.
Dawn Jordan-Wells made a motion to purchase a plaque and flowers and spend no more than $50.
Kathleen Toms seconded the motion passed unanimously. .
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 7:28 p.m.
