AN ORDINANCE APPROVING CERTAIN RATE SCHEDULES FILED
BY TEXAS POWER & LIGHT COMPANY IN THE VILLAGE OF
EULESS, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH
SUCH RATE SCHEDULES MAY BE CHANGED, MODIFIED,AMENDED
OR WITHDRAWN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE VILLAGE OF EULESS,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That Texas Power & Light Company, having filed
on the 20th day of April, 1953; its Rate Book. No. C-53-3, containing
a set of electric Rate ched.ules and the Service Regulations referred
to therein, witi1 the Village Secretary, the same are hereby approved.
as the Schedules of Rates under which said Company is authorized to
collect charges from its customers for the sale of electric power and
energy within the corcora,te limits of the Village until such time as
said Rate Schedu,-les a,nd Service Regulations may be changed, modified,
amended or withdravyn, as provided in the next succeeding Section
hereof.
Section 2: Should Texas power Light Comoany, its
successors or assigns, desire to put in effect within the Village a
new Rate Schedule or new Service Regulation, or to c- -iange any existing
Rate Schedule or Service Regul,� Lion, or 'Lo withdraw the same, it shall
file with the Village Secretary such new or cilanged Rate Schedules and
Service Regulations or notice of withdrawal of any existing Rate Schedule
or Service Regulation, and. unless the Village :suspend or disapprove the
same within thirty (30) days from the time of such filing or notice of
withdrawai, the new or changed Rata Schedule or Service Regulation or
wi thdravaal of an existing RGte Schedule or Service Regulation shall be
in effect from date of filing, and thereafter until changed, as herein
provided.
Section 3e It shall be unlauful for Texas !Fower & Light
Company to chai,-ge any Rate or ;out into effect any Service Regulatition
not fixed. or approved. b,% the Board of Aldermen, in the manner herein
iorovided.
Section g.; The filing of the Rate Schedules and Service
Regulations, and the approval of same by the Board of Aldermen, in
the mann-er herein ?provided, shall constitute notice to the consumers
of electricity, within the Village, of the availability and application
of such Rate Schedules and Service Regulations.

Section 5: This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage
and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED AND APPROVED at a called meeting of the Board of
Aldermen of the Village of Euless, Texas, this the 20th day of
April, A. D. 1953.
