AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TEREITORY ADJACENT
AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, AND PRO-
VIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A PART OF SAID CITY
AND THAT THE OWNER AND INHABITANTS THEREOF .SHALL BE
ENTITLED TO ALL OF THE PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF
SAID CITY, AND BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW
IN EFFECT AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PRO-
VIDING FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTI NG THE OFFICIAL BOUND-
ARIES OF SAID CITY AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
VHE.RiLAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953,
53rd Legislature, page 36'7, Chapter 93, codified as Article 9`74 --G,
Arthur E. Glenn, owner of Real property, hereinafter described has made
application as by law provided to the Mayor and the City Council of
the City of Euless, Texas, rec7uesting annexation to the City of Euless,
Texas, of a tract of land consisting of eighteen. (13) acres more or
less, situated in the A. I,iA Downing, Abstract No. 415 and G. W. Couch
Abstract No. 2'72 Surveys, in Tarrant County, Texas, described on the
Tax Rolls of said County as Tracts 2A and 9A respectively of Said-
Surveys,
and being more fully described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the North right of way line of
County Road No„ 3005, (Hurst Pipe Line Road) where same
inter sects the So uthwe -st Corner of a Tract of Land annexed
to the City of Euless, Texas, on September 6, 1954, pur-
suant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 25;
THENCE, West along the north right of way line of said
Hurst Pipe Ling Road, to a point situated in the
G. W. Couch Survey, same being the S -butheast Corner
of a Tract of Land conveyed to Arthur E. Glenn by
General Warranty Deed recorded in Volume 2050 page
505 Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE, North along the West line of said Tract afore-
mentioned. to a point where same intersects the South
right of way line of State Highway No. 183, and continu-
ing across said highway to the North right of way line
thereof;
THENCE, Northeasterly along the North right of tray line
of said State Highway No. 183, to the present Western
City Limit Line of the City of Euless, Texas, as estab-
lished by Ordinance nance No. 25, aforementioned.;
THENCE, South along the present Western City Limit Line
as established pursuant to the Ordinance aforementioned
to tine place of beginning;
AND,
WHf� ��AS, the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, as
provided by law has received said petition and duly and le Bally
considered the same, and. it appearing to the Council of said City,
that all statutory requirements in connection with said application have
been fulfilled, and that said area is adjacent and contiguous to the City
of Euless, Texas, and 9 -s not more than one -half mile in width, on titiThich
not more than three cualified voters reside, all of winich the Council

BE IT ORDAIagED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
1.
THATE, 'the property hereinabove described_, being adjacent and
contiguous to the City Limits of Euless, Texas, be and is hereby annexed
and brought within the corporate limits of the City of Euless, Texas,
and is hereby made an integral part thereof.
2.
THAT, the owners and inhabitants of
be entitled to all the rights and privilec'es
property owners of said- City, and be bound by
ordinances made in conformity thereto, now in
and that which may be hereafter adopted*

of other citizens and

full force and effect,
THE official map and boundaries of the City of Euless, Texas, as
heretofore adopted and amended, is hereby amended so as to include the
aforementioned described area and territory as a part of the City of
Euless, Texas.
4.
THIS ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and
effect from and- after its passage and approval by the - Kayor, and duly
attested by the City Secretary.
ADOPTED this 15th day of March, A. D. 1955.
