Euless City Council
March 27, 1962
The regular meeting of the Euless City
Council was held on March 27, 1962. Present were Mayor J. S. Anderson,
Councilmen Billy Byers, Roy Eraswell, Bobby Fuller, Billy Owens, and H. M.
Huffman.
Dr. Braswell.
The meeting was opened with a prayer by

The minutes of the regular meeting of March
13, 1962, were read by the City Secretary and approved by the Council.
2.
A motion was made by Councilman Byers, and
seconded by Councilman Owens, to authorize the City Secretary to write a letter
to Humble 0 i I & Refining Company approving their plans for a service station at
Norman Drive and Highway 183. The vote in favor was unanimous.

A motion was made by Councilman Fuller, and
seconded by Councilman Braswell, to write a letter of thanks to Mrs. Bolton,
accepting her resignation as Librarian, and appoint Mrs. H i I I as Librarian.
The vote in favor was unanimous.

A motion was made by Councilman Owens, and
seconded by Councilman Fuller, to purchase a Victor automatic electric adding
machine at a price of $228.60, less $105.00 trade -in for our Burroughs adding
machine, making the cash cost $123.60. The vote in favor was unanimous.
5.
A motion was made by Councilman Owens, and
seconded by Councilman Byers, to authorize incandescent street lights at the
intersection of Oakwood Drive and Pipeline Road and Sunset Drive and Pipeline
Road. The vote in favor was unanimous.

A motion was made by Councilman Huffman, and
seconded by Councilman Fuller, authorizing Chief Sustaire to attend a Police
Training Division School at Texas A & M, April 9, 1962, to April 13, 1962. The
C i t y to pay a l l expenses. The vote in favor was unanimous.

A motion was made by Councilman Fuller, and
seconded by Councilman Owens, to adjourn. The vote in favor was unanimous.
