AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY ADJACENT
AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING
THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A PART OF SAID CITY AND
THAT THE OWNER AND INHABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED
TO ALL OF THE PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY
AND BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT
AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING FOR
AMENDING AND CORRECTING TIIE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES OF
SAID CITY AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts 1953, 53rd
Legislature Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974-G, W. W.
Lynch of Dallas County, Texas, owner of the real property hereinafter
described, has made application as by law provided to the Mayor and
City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, requesting annexation to
the City of Euless, Texas, of a tract of land consisting of ninety --six
(96) acres more or less situated in the R. Crowley Survey, in Tarrant
County, Texas, the description thereof by metes and bounds being as
per the following:
BEGINNING at a point in the East right -of --way Line of
State Farm to Market Road No. 157, the North City Limits
Line of the City of Euless, Texas;
THENCE, North along the East Right -of -Way Line of said
Road to a point where same intersects the South Right -of-
Way Line of County Road No. 3011;
THENCE, East along the South right -of --way Line of said
County Road No. 3011 crossing County Road No. 3129 and
continuing along the South Right --of -way line of Road
No. 3011 to the East Boundary Line of the R. Crowley
Survey, Abstract No. 312, said point being also in the
center of said County Road No. 3011, bearing North;
TrIENCE,' North along the East Boundary Line of the said
R. Crowley Survey to a point, being the Northeast Corner
of a Ninety -five (95) acre tract;
THENCE, West along the North Boundary Line of said
Ninety --Five (95) acre tract 2636.89 feet to the Northwest
Corner thereof and continuing West -to the West right --of -way
line of County Road No. 3121;
TE11ENCE, South along said West right-of-way line of County
Road No, 3121, 1569.17 feet to a point immediately across
said road from the Southwest Corner of said Ninety --Five
(95) acre tract;
THENCE, East crossing said County Road No. 3121 to
the said Southwest Corner of said tract and continuing
East along the South Boundary Line thereof 2638,89 feet
to the West right --of --way line of County Road No. 3011;
THENCE, South along the West right-- of-way line of
County Road No. 3011 to its intersection with the same
road, the north right -of --way line thereof being in the
R. Crowley Survey, and continuing West along the said
North right -of-way line thereof to the West right -of --way
line of State Farm to Market Road No. 157;
THTENCE, South along said West right --of --way line to the
point where same intersects the North City Limit of the
City of Euless;
THENCE, East across said Farm to Market Road No. 157
to the place of beginning,
as per copy of plat attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Euless, Texas, as provided by
law has received said petition and duly and legally considered the
same, and it appearing to the Council of said City, that all statutory
requirements in connection with said application have been fulfilled
and that said area is adjacent and contiguous to the City of Euless,
Texas, and is not more than one -half mile in width in which not more
than three qualified voters reside, all of which the Council so finds,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
THAT, the property I-iereinabove described and as shown on the
plat attached hereto, being adjacent and contiguous to the City Limits
of Euless, Texas, be and is hereby annexed and brought within the
Corporate Limits of the City of Euless, Texas, and is hereby made an
integral part thereof.
2.
THAT, the owner and inhabitants of the area herein annexed
be entitled to all the rights and privileges of other Citizens and
property owners of said City, and be bound by all of the acts and
ordinances made in conformity thereto, now in full force and effect
and that which may be hereinafter adopted.
3.
THAT, the official map and boundaries of the City of Euless,
Texas, as heretofore adopted and amended be and is hereby amended
so as to include the aforementioned described therein territory
as part of the City of Euless-, Texas.

THIS ordinance shall become effective and be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor,
and duly attested by ttae City Secretary.
