AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR CHANGE
OF DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING
MAP TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
W-HEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, Texas,
after consideration of applicatio-n from the owner of reai property
herein described, situated within said City, and having held public
heari;.zg thereon, in which all interested owners or property in
the vicinity of said realty were given ample and sufficient oppor-
tunity to be heard in connection with said application, have
.recommended to the City Council a change in designation of said tract,
and as by law provided publication of notice of final hearing on said
recommendation to be held before the City Council was had by publishing
same in the Mid-City Nees, the official Newspaper of the City on
October 24, 1956, and after said public hearing being held in accord-
ance with said notice inwhich all owners of property in the City of
Euless, Texas, were given ample and sufficient opportunity to be
heard, the City Council deems it to the best interest of said City
and its inhabitants that such recommendation be approved.
NOW, TiIEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY T E CIT' ( CO9 CIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:

IT is hereby ordered that the official district Zoning Map of
the City of Euless ) Texas , being a part of Ordinance No, 33, be
amended to read as foliotirs:
That the designation of a toienty (20) acre tract of
land out of the A. 111. Downing Survey situated and
being in the Northwest Corner of the intersection
of Highway No. 15'1 and Pipe Line Road, owned by
Moss Cannon and wife 'Minnie Cannon, be and is
hereby changed from "A" Single Family Dwelling District
to "C" Commercial District.
2.
`THIS Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage as by law provided.
ADOPTED this 1 ?th day of November, A. D. 1956.
