AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTI-
FIED AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "C -2"
COMMUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "SP" SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT FOR A COMMERCIAL AMUSEMENT CENTER; PROVIDING
FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THIS TRACT OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED
ACCORDING TO APPROVED PLANS; AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS
ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of
the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended
to read as follows:
"That the zoning classification of the following described
property now zoned "C -2" Community Business District be
changed to "C -2" Community Business District with a Specific
Use Permit for a Commercial Amusement Center:
The following described tract or parcel of land being Lot 4,
Lot 5, and a portion of Lot 3, Block 2, Euless Gardens Addition,
to the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, according to plat
recorded on Page 18 of Volume 388-C in the Tarrant County
Deed Records and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot 5, Block 2, said
Euless Gardens Addition and being in the east line of North
Main Street;
Thence east along the north line of said Lot 5 a distance of
235.5 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 5;
Thence south a distance of 200.8 feet;
Thence west a distance of 106.5 feet;
Thence north a distance of 20.8 feet to the south line of said
Lot 4, Block 2, said Euless Gardens Addition;
Thence west along the south line of said Lot 4 a distance of
129.0 feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 4 and being in
the east line of said North Main Street;
Thence north along the east line of said North Main Street
a distance of 180.0 feet to place of beginning.
as specifically set forth in the development plan submitted by Applicant
dated November 17, 1978, which development plan is on file in the City of
Euless Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 276.

That the applicable use of land pursuant to the Specific Use Permit
for a commercial amusement center, as permitted by Section 7 -1002, City of
Euless Zoning Ordinance No. 347, being subject to the following restrictions
affecting the Specific Use Permit granted at the premises,
1. No gambling
2. No consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages
3. No standing, congregating, or loitering of more that
three (3) persons on the exterior of the premises in
excess of thirty (30) consecutive minutes
4. Shirts, blouses, or upper torso clothing covering
is required.
To facilitate the owners - operators enforcement of such
restrictions, the holder of the Specific Use Permit has
agreed to post, in a prominent location on the premises,
signs as follows:
INSIDE: "No Gambling Permitted"
INSIDE: "No Possession or Consumption of Alcoholic
Beverages Permitted"
EXTERIOR: "No Standing, Congregating, or Loitering
Permitted"

Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance or the amendments
to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed guilty of a
Misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars
($200.00), and each day such violation shall be permitted to exist shall
constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance No. 347 and subsequent
amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of the State of Texas.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State of
Texas.

PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 9th day of January, 1979; GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED AND
APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 23rd day
of January, 1979, by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays.
