AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTIFIED
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "C -2" COMMUNITY
BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "SP" SPECIFIC USE PERMIT; PROVIDING
FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THIS TRACT OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED
ACCORDING TO APPROVED PLANS; AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS
ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to
read as follows:
That the zoning classification of the following described
property, now zoned "C -2" Community Business District be
changed to "SP" Specific Use Permit.
The following described tract or parcel of land being Tract 8
and a portion of Tract 7, Harwood Plaza, to the City of Euless,
Tarrant County, Texas according to plat recorded on Page 90
of Volume 388 -53 in the Tarrant County Deed Records and being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Tract 8 and being
in the east line of F.M. Highway No. 157;
Thence north along the east line of said F.M. Highway No. 157
a distance of 150.0 feet to the northwest corner of said
Tract 8;
Thence south 870 57' 35" east a distance of 490.05 feet to the
east line of said Tract 7;
Thence south 00 35' east along the east line of said Tract 7
a distance of 150.0 feet to the southeast corner of said
Tract 7;
Thence north 870 58' west a distance of 491.58 feet to place
of beginning, containing 1.69 acres or 73,561 square feet of
land more or less.
as specifically set forth in the development plan submitted by Applicant
dated December 5, 1978, which development plan is on file in the City of
Euless Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 278.

Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance or the amendments
of the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed guilty of a
Misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars
($200.00), and each day such violation shall be permitted to exist shall
constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance No. 347 and subsequent
amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of the State of Texas.
3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State of
Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the Euless
City Council on the 27th day of February, 1979; GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED
AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 13th
day of March, 1979, by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays.
