AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 28 (BUILDING CODE) OF TIIE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI-4E CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS:
THAT, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 28 adopted March 11, 1955,
be amended to read as follows:
1.
A. The word "PERSON" as used in this ordinance shall be
constructed to impart the singular and plural as the case demands,
and shall include corporations, companies, societies and associations
and any agent or representative thereof.
B. The word "STRUCTURE" as used in this Ordinance s'(zall
mean any building constructed or installed by man (including, but
without limitation, any transmissions lines, posts or i '3ole con-
structed or installed by others than suppliers of public utility
service operating within the City of Euless, Texas, pursuant to a
Franchise granted by said City, fence, house, bridge, driveway or
passageway, barn, shed, tree, tank, advertising sign, advertising
billboard, space or equipment or facilities).
C. The word "ALTERATION" as used in this ordinance shall mean
any change, addition or modification in construction or character of
any structure or grade of occupancy.
2.
THIS ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
